Interregional Cooperation Programme "INTERREG IVC" 2007-2013 GENERAL INFORMATION INTERREG IVC under way The INTERREG IIIC successor programme “INTERREG IVC” is now launched. The new programme will run from 2007 till 2013. The current model consisting of four programme zones will be replaced with one Europe-wide programme with a single management structure. “INTERREG IVC” will have a clear focus on regional development policies in the areas of innovation, knowledge economy, environment and risk prevention. Different types of interregional cooperation projects and networks will be funded. It contains the essential information for applicants to the INTERREG IVC programme. Further functions and updates will be added over the coming months. Visit http://www.interreg4c.eu. Partner Search function New project ideas submitted to INTERREG IVC are available for search on the INTERREG IVC website: http://www.interreg4c.net/projects.html. You can sort by priority or type of intervention, or search for particular countries or regions seeking partners. You also have the opportunity here to submit your own project idea. Assistance to new project applicants A range of measures – from Project Assistance feedback forms to Individual consultations – have been put in place by the INTERREG IVC secretariat. Details of the latest Lead Applicant Seminars and other events are also available: http://www.interreg4c.net/application.html#_222 INTERREG IVC PROGRAMMING TIMELINE INTERREG IVC officially launched – first call for projects open The interregional cooperation programme – INTERREG IVC – has been officially launched at the EU Interregional Cooperation Forum held on 21 September 2007 in Lisbon. The first call for projects was opened at the Forum, and will close on 15th January 2008. http://www.interreg4c.net/application.html European Commission approves INTERREG IVC programme INTERREG IVC was the first territorial cooperation programme to be approved by the European Commission on 11 September 2007. This was followed by the first Monitoring Committee of the new programme to finalise programme documents. Final Operational Programme approved by Programming Committee The INTERREG IVC Programming Committee approved the final version of the Operational Programme (OP) on 26 July 2007. The OP was submitted to the European Commission for validation on 1st August. You can download the final version of the OP submitted in the download section below. Public consultation summarising statement published During the preparation phase of the INTERREG IVC programme and in accordance with Directive 2001/42/EC, the third revised Operational Programme draft and Environment Report were sent out to the relevant bodies for consultation and published on the website of the INTERREG IIIC programme on 20 December 2006. By 20 April 2007 more than 300 comments from 46 authorities had been received from 15 countries. About 100 of these comments included opinions on environmental issues within the Operational Programme and on the Strategic Environment Assessment (SEA), as well as on the Environment Report and its recommendations. 200 comments submitted concerned the Operational Programme. All comments received were very constructive and were included when appropriate in the INTERREG IVC Programme, as were the recommendations of the Environment Report. Also provided are the following documents: The SEA environment report, Ex-ante evaluation, the final OP and the Directive 2001/42/EC. INTERREG IVC Operational Programme submitted The updated version of the INTERREG IVC Operational Programme (OP) was submitted to the EC on 19 April 2007. The documents will be further adjusted as comments from the public consultation as well as from the European Commission made during the approval process have to be incorporated.
